Many people still don’t know that PESCO accepts online applications for new connections. Because of limited awareness or hesitation with using online platforms, some people go through unnecessary visits and delays.
But here’s the good news—you no longer need to visit the PESCO office just to get a form or ask how the process works. Everything you need is now available through the official PESCO online portal, where you can submit your application from the comfort of your home.
Online Method For New Connection
- Visit the Official PESCO Website
- Open www.pesco.gov.pk and click the New Connection tab.
- Click “Apply New Connection.”
- A new window will open where you’ll begin the online application process.
- Download and fill out the application form.
- Download the required form directly from the website. This is necessary for your submission.
Select Your Electricity Distribution Company - Choose PESCO from the list (or another if you’re outside PESCO’s area, like MEPCO, FESCO, etc.).
- Choose Load Category
- Pick the load you need for your service; choices usually start at 15 kW and go up to 5,000 kW.
- Pick Your Subdivision and City
- Tell us the subdivision and city where you want the new connection.
Provide a Reference Number
If a meter already sits on your property, please type in its reference number so we can look it up.
If not, you may use the reference number of a nearby meter (such as a neighbor’s) to proceed.
